The prodigy student, Light Yagami, leads a rather boring life in his point of view. But everything changes when he finds a dark notebook called Death Note. He thought it was a joke of bad taste, but as time went by, he began to use the power of the notebook: whoever possesses it can kill anyone with just the name and his face in mind. The notebook belonged to the Shinigami (Angel of Death) Ryuk and this, "served" the human who used it. As soon as Light decided to dominate the world and exterminate evil, a famous detective, nicknamed L, takes the case and opposes his plans.
